This is Pepper. We got her a year and a half ago from the shelter. She is a good girl except she would go after our cats and they would be terrorized for a while after of her! So we looked up online about dog trainers and that’s how we found PUPS! So we put Pepper in for a week board and train over a year ago and Pepper is doing so much better now! She is my sidekick!šŸ˜„

This is Belly! She was a rescue from a beach in Texas. She was at PAWS for about 6 months and in 7 different test runs homes before we found and adopted her in December 2019.

Belly is a Great Pyrenees mix and is 1.5 years old and came with some bad habits like barking and pulling/lunging at other people and dogs on walks.

We came to PUPS for some private sessions with my sister and her dog Harla. Weā€™ve done 4 session so far and Belly is a happier, less anxious dog since using the prong & ecollar.

She loves her place and long controlled walks! šŸ’•

I highly recommend PUPS! Chelsea is very passionate about what she does and explains everything so you know what to except and what you should be doing with your dog to get the results you want. Iā€™m glad we didnā€™t wait and jumped right in!

I am so pleased I found Peace &Unity. My one year old German Shepard, Elsa, has been for daycare/training, train and board and home care/ training. They have taught me how to reinforce the training they provide to mold my girl into the magnificent partner she has become.

Our family has benefited so much from Chelsea and PUPS!

We recently had both of our dogs spend time with PUPS for training and we loved it so much that they continue to go to day care once a week.

Amelia, our 7-year-old girl, stayed with Chelsea for a 3 week reactivity rehab to help with her aggression toward other dogs and her resource guarding. That board and train experience has made a world of difference for her and for us! We can now take Amelia around other unfamiliar dogs without fear of her snarling, growling, or fighting .

Not only did Chelsea provide Amelia with the training, she gave us the tools, support, and confidence to continue to work with Amelia effectively. We could not be more grateful!

Henry is our 10 month old puppy who spent a week at PUPS for a foundation training. And again, what a difference it’s made for us all! Henry is a pup with seemingly boundless energy and Chelsea taught us how to more effectively structure his day and use our commands/tools to support him and give him a lot of mental exercise as well as physical. šŸ™‚ He’s still mastering “place” (Amelia, however, is the master!) but he used to ump all over us, and visitors, and it is a very rare occurrence now.

Hallelujah!

We highly recommend PUPS and all the great work and care they put into training and supporting dogs and owners. ā¤

Our dog Dallas is a proud graduate of a 4 week Habit Reform School that was designed by PUPS to address his issues of resource guarding, selective aggression, and poor impulse control. Dallas is a really big boy, so his issues had become a huge concern to us; PUPS was the final hope to save him from being put down for his aggression.

Iā€™m pleased to report that Dallas is home and doing absolutely great! He came home 8 days ago and after a day or two of adjustment, itā€™s been smooth sailing. Thereā€™s been no sign of his previous negative behaviors, and his new skills are wonderful! I enjoy walking him now!

Chelsea is fabulous! I canā€™t say enough about how helpful sheā€™s been both before and during the training process! I have also consulted with her since he came home; no question is silly, no problem too small-sheā€™s so amazing!! Iā€™m so grateful for her patience and assistance!! Her training skill is unsurpassed; I wonā€™t hesitate to recommend her and PUPS to anyone in need of a dog trainer!!

We got Ellie… a German Shorthaired Pointer. We understood the breed was a high energy breed. We couldn’t do anything with her. She was completely out of control with anything we tried to do with her. we knew there was more to owning a dog than just keeping her in her outside pen all day.

We sent her to Chelsea for one week of foundation training. The difference is unbelievable! We are now enjoying Ellie like we never thought possible!

We can now take her on leisurely walksā€¦ she doesn’t attack the cat anymore and she listens.

I HIGHLY recommend Peace & Unity training. Chelsea is no doubt a dog whisperer. She is professionalā€¦ funny.. and is extremely knowledgeable. bring your dog to herā€¦ you will not regret it!

Our Dog Max is a very nervous and anxious dog. We heard about Peace and Unity Pet Services and I knew it was the right place when I met Chelsea.

He boarded with her for a whole week while she trained him, and then spent the time to train me and my fiancĆ© in the home, and community so we had the right tools and education to keep up with Maxā€™s training.

While Max is still going to be anxious (because he only got a week training) he is so much better. I am able to take him out into public places and not worry that he will pull me over, or be out of control. He also is a lot more calm in the home as well.

Chelsea and the other staff at Peace and Unity Pet Services really did a tremendous job training Max. Iā€™m so glad I made the decision to go through them for training! I couldnā€™t thank them enough.

We brought our 9 month old labrador to PUPS after trying other obedience trainings. Mitchell is a goofy exuberant dog but his jumping, mouthiness, ignoring us, and being fresh was unacceptable.

After one private session with Chelsea, Mitchell was a different dog. The transformation was stunning. We have gone twice more and continue to see improvements. He now listens, heels, autosits, is no longer mouthy, no longer jumps on people, knows ā€œplace,ā€ and is working on recall. He is still a work in progress, but Chelsea has given us the tools to help Mitchell find success.

Chelsea, in her patient way, has the unique blend of connecting with both dogs and humans. We are deeply grateful we met her. One of the greatest compliments we can give Chelsea is when our friends and family who have known Mitchell since he was a young pup see him now and say, ā€œIS THAT MITCHELL??!!ā€ We say yup. Thanks Chelsea!!
